These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of HomeKeeperPlus (the "Service"), a home maintenance subscription service. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 18 years old to use HomeKeeperPlus. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. Subscription Plans

HomeKeeperPlus offers Free, Pro, and Premium plans. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and automatically renew until canceled. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time from your account settings.

3. Free Trial

New users may receive a free trial of a paid plan. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to the selected paid plan unless you cancel before the trial ends.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. You authorize us (and our provider) to charge your payment method for the selected plan, including applicable taxes. If a payment fails, we may suspend or downgrade your account until payment is resolved.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of any property data, documents, photos, and notes you upload ("Your Content"). You grant HomeKeeperPlus a limited license to store, display, and process Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

  • Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Do not upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the Service.
  • Do not share access to your account with parties other than those permitted by your plan.
  • Do not scrape, resell, or rebrand the Service without written permission.

7. Maintenance Recommendations Disclaimer

HomeKeeperPlus provides general home maintenance reminders and guidance for informational purposes only. We are not licensed contractors, inspectors, or engineers. Always consult a qualified professional for repairs involving safety, structural, electrical, plumbing, gas, or code-related work.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Scheduled maintenance will be announced when reasonably possible.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the Service will end and Your Content may be deleted after a reasonable grace period.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HomeKeeperPlus and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
